Nie wszystkie festiwale w dobie koronawirusa odpuściły. 24 i 25 lipca zapraszamy na wyjątkową edycję online Konkursu Młodych Talentów i Festiwalu Reggae na Piaskach w Ostrowie Wielkopolskim. Ze specjalnie przygotowanego studia video popłyną festiwalowe wspomnienia, wywiady z artystami, którzy zagrali na Piaskach. Będą też specjalne koncerty zagrane przez jamajskich i polskich artystów.
W tym roku przypada 20-lecie Festiwalu Reggae na Piaskach, więc organizatorzy zrobili wszystko, by nawet koronawirus nie zepsuł jubileuszu. Skoro więc nawet po niedawnym poluzowaniu rygorów nie można było normalnie przygotować kolejnej edycji, postanowili nie poddawać się i przygotować wersję online festiwalu.
Już 24 i 25 lipca, nad jeziorem Piaski Szczygliczka w Ostrowie Wielkopolskim stanie studio video, z którego realizowana będzie wielogodzinna, bezpłatna transmisja internetowa dla wszystkich miłośników muzyki reggae w Polsce i zainteresowanych na świecie.

Z racji jubileuszu 20-lecia Reggae na Piaskach, w sobotę 25 lipca, od godziny 18.00 emitowane będą najciekawsze, często niepublikowane, fragmenty koncertów gwiazd festiwalu: Dubtonik Kru, Rootz Underground, Izrael, Andrew Tosh, Jafia, Ras Zachary, Gedeon Jerubbaal, Dubska, Tabu, Pura Vida i wielu innymi.
Wrócą znane i nieznane wspomnienia i anegdoty festiwalowe.
Będą łączenia na żywo i rozmowy z artystami z całego świata, występującymi na Reggae na Piaskach o tym, jak wspominają ostrowska publiczność i atmosferę na festiwalu.
Nie zabraknie też oczywiście nowych koncertów, zagranych specjalnie dla Reggae na Piaskach przez artystów na całym świecie. Prosto z Jamajki zagrają: EVERTON BLENDER, RACHAAD AMARJII GREEN & Natural Heights Band oraz IMAR SHEPHERD. Z Belgii piękne akustyczne dźwięki zagra i zaśpiewa PURAMAN– lider dobrze znanego ostrowskiej publiczności zespołu Pura Vida. Z Londynu zaśpiewa dla nas swoim cudownym głosem QSHAN DEYA – utalentowany artysta z maleńkiej karaibskiej wysepki Saint Vincent and Grenadines.
Honoru polskiego reggae bronić będzie w akustycznym stylu DAREK MALEJONEK– jeden z założycieli legendarnego Izraela i lider Maleo Reggae Rockers. Pięknymi dźwiękami swojego projektu World A Riddim ukołysze Was KRYSTIAN K-JAH WALCZAK z całą plejadą polskich i światowych gwiazd reggae, jak Runkus, Kamau, Tamika i inni.

Dzień wcześniej, w piątek 24 lipca organizatorzy zapraszają przed ekrany komputerów i smartfonów na 14. edycję Konkursu Młodych Talentów im. Ryszarda Sarbaka. Najstarszy i jedyny obecnie w Polsce odbywający się bez przerwy konkurs dla młodych zespołów grających reggae odbędzie się również w zmienionej formule. Zamiast koncertów i grania na żywo, tym razem zespoły nadesłały swoje produkcje video. To były zarówno clipy, jak również nagrania studyjne i koncertowe oraz nowe formy, czyli „koronaclipy”- czyli clipy nagrane w warunkach obostrzeń spowodowanych koronawirusem.
Przypomnimy wszystkich dotychczasowych laureatów i zaprezentujemy tegorocznych uczestników. Do tegorocznego konkursu zakwalifikowano nastepujace zespoły i wykonawców: N4ME IT SOUND, NALEDII, I REY, BOLEO & FOLLOW THE RIDDIM, POSSITIVE REGGAE ROCKERS, ZAKRĘTY.
W tegorocznym głosowaniu laureata wybiorą internauci. Na najlepszy zespół czeka nagroda finansowa, zaproszenie na przyszłoroczny festiwal i nagrody dodatkowe.

Not all festivals in the era of coronavirus gave up. On 24 and 25 July, we invite you to the unique online edition of the Young Talents Competition and the Reggae Festival in Piaski in Ostrów Wielkopolski. From specially prepared video studio will flow festival memories, interviews with artists who played on Piaski. There will also be special concerts played by Jamaican and Polish artists.
This year is the 20th anniversary of the Reggae Festival in Sands, so the organizers have done everything to prevent even coronavirus from spoiling the jubilee. So since even after the recent loosening of rigors, it was not possible to normally prepare the next edition, they decided not to give up and prepare the online version of the festival.
On 24 and 25 July, a video studio will be built at Piaski Szczygliczka Lake in Ostrów Wielkopolski, which will be used for many hours, free internet broadcast for all lovers of reggae music in Poland and interested in the world.

Due to the 20th anniversary of Reggae in Piaski, on Saturday, July 25, from 18.00, the most interesting, often unpublished, fragments of concerts of festival stars will be broadcast: Dubtonik Kru, Rootz Underground, Israel, Andrew Tosh, Jafia, Ras Zachary, Gedeon Jerubbaal, Dubska , Taboo, Pura Vida and many others.
Known and unknown memories and festival anecdotes will come back.
There will be live connections and conversations with artists from around the world, performing at Reggae in Piaski, about how they remember the audience in Ostrów and the atmosphere at the festival.
Of course, there will also be new concerts played especially for Reggae in Piaski by artists around the world. Straight from Jamaica will play: EVERTON BLENDER, RACHAAD AMARJII GREEN & Natural Heights Band and IMAR SHEPHERD. From Belgium, beautiful acoustic sounds will be played and sung by PURAMAN – the leader of the well-known Pura Vida audience from Ostrów. From London he will sing for us with his wonderful voice QSHAN DEYA – a talented artist from the tiny Caribbean island of Saint Vincent and Grenadines.
The honor of Polish reggae will be defended in the acoustic style DAREK MALEJONEK – one of the founders of the legendary Israel and leader of Maleo Reggae Rockers. With beautiful sounds of your World A Riddim project, you will be rocked by KRYSTIAN K-JAH WALCZAK with a whole galaxy of Polish and world reggae stars like Runkus, Kamau, Tamika and others.

The day before, on Friday, July 24, the organizers invite to the screens of computers and smartphones for the 14th edition of the Young Talent Competition named after Ryszard Sarbak. The oldest and currently only non-stop competition in Poland for young reggae bands will also take place in a changed formula. Instead of concerts and playing live, this time the bands sent their video productions. These were both clips, as well as studio and concert recordings, and new forms, or “coronaclips” – that is, clips recorded in conditions of restrictions caused by coronavirus.
We will remind all the winners to date and present this year’s participants. The following bands and performers were qualified to this year’s competition: N4ME IT SOUND, NALEDIA, I REY, BOLEO & FOLLOW THE RIDDIM, POSSITIVE REGGAE ROCKERS, ZAKRĘTY.
Internet users will choose the winner in this year’s vote. A financial prize, an invitation to next year’s festival and additional prizes await the best team.
